Bulk Magnesium

Make sure you don’t run out of your self care. You can use the other container to store for easier filling. Oversized containers for already peeled grapefruit work well too!

Great starter for checking out magnesium baths. This is a great container to save for the bulk purchase also.

Magnesium Flakes

Our bodies cannot get enough magnesium from food or the land like we use to. Instead of waiting for digestion, let this soak into your skin. Don’t use steaming hot water, put a towel at the bottom of your tub, let the flakes absorb into the towel and place the warm towel around your neck to get closest to your nervous system and spine (up around your hairline) resting on your shoulders. Great price for a first time buy.

 

Magnesium Oil

This magnesium oil works great and is a reasonable price for the concentration. When I use this, I put either a lotion or coconut oil in my hand and then spray the oil on me. If I use just the oil, it feels a little like bug spray (tacky/sticky). I’ve had patients say that they like it just sprayed without any oil or lotion mixed with it.

Michelle may have suggested certain areas to put the oil (do that), but you can never go wrong putting it on the base of your skull (at your hair line) and down over your shoulders and along your lower back (including your sacrum). These areas are where you have the most access to your nervous system.

Magnesium Lotion

This is my favorite. I keep this by my bed and one in the bathroom (it smells like vanilla).

If I have trouble sleeping or think I will, I put this on the bottom of my feet (oil works with that too). Our feet have a connection with every part of our body. Magnesium helps our nervous system to relax and fire properly. Our bodies need magnesium but cannot always get it from our food, the plants lose it upon travel to our stores and our soil doesn’t have as much nutrient as it used to.

I loved this book! I have always been mindful of drinking enough or so I thought. If your goal has been to increase your water intake, this book is for you. It is also great because it allows you truly understand how your body works and what water does for our health. Another great book is The Fourth Phase of Water.

Intellectual Foreplay

Eve Eschner Hogan, MA with Steven Hogan

This is one of my favorite recommendations! This book is great for allowing us to learn how we tick and how we view and are viewed by others. Read this alongside any other book or alone. It is designed for you to take your time and ponder answers to the many, many questions about yourself. It helps you to see that others have different upbringing than we do and be able to be more mindful of others when we interact with them. The first few chapters are short and easy to read and the rest of the chapters are all separated by topic and all questions about those topics. MUST READ to allow you a calmer life with more compassion and understanding of yourself.

Added note-keep in mind this book does not include cell phones, texting, or social media since it is THAT old lol But it is such a great book and you can add those in.
